I have a confession - I have been ignoring the blythes since I moved. not intentionally - but with working longer hours to pay my rent and generally not feeling like taking pictures, it just happened.

Anyway, I re-arranged the blythe shelf to bring more of them down to eye level. the majority of the house is in shambles but I am finally working on the shop below the beauty parlor. It will be mr cheeks's first business venture!

How totally lovely ! Great great shelf !
Looks great!
Still want those drawers. Don't really have a place for them but dammit!
Now I want to paint the outside Paul Smith stripey. Of course I just want PS stripeys on all kinds of things...
My Blythes have been ignored too. I have been loving my vintage girls more these days. I should move them too!
Love your blythe shelves! I'm so jealous of the hair salon, my blythes need on of those too :D
i love how you put a storefront window on the new shop!
Great! Wish I was this organized!

I can totally relate! Since I've been at my new-ish job I'm so exhausted I can't think about pictures. Ugh! Hang in there!
Super cool!
Ah, the neighborhood is expanding! Fun, reminds me a bit of Tokyo there with the shops on the different floors of the buildings =)

Nice to see Mr. Cheeks is doing well with his entrepeneurship. I have to ask if those are Re-ment goodies?
the meats will be mostly re-ment, but we are building most of the shop fixtures ourselves except the daiya sink unit
wow you have a very neat place for a blythe, it's so kiddish its cute!
You have some fantastic dolls!
gorgeous room. I have been the same way with my blythes for the same reasons for the last month or so. maybe now my boyfriend has a job i'll get a day off to myself to have a girly doll dressing day.
you've got a great set up :)
such an interesting set to look at!

where did you end up putting your sewing machine then? i noticed in a previous pic it was between the two side shelves...
giz - I don't sew much anymore, so I put it in the closet and pull it out and use it at the kitchen table or desk when I need to. the little wooden shelf was too wobbly and small to do anything more than doll clothes, anyway.
You got lights too! Neat!
well, i'm sure your dollies are happier to be at eye level now without the sewing machine in the way ;). i guess you have to set your priorities and work with the space that you have. you must be loving living on your own. i forgot to congratulate you for moving out! :)
